Our Team

The Reverend Canon Joshua Gbenga Ajayi is an Anglican Priest ordained some Twenty years ago. He served in many parishes in the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion before moving to the United States. Fr. Joshua works with the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) in the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes. He was an Assistant Priest at Lakewood Anglican Church, now St. Anselm Anglican Church before his transfer to All Saints’ Anglican Church Rochester, New York, first as the Priest-in-Charge and now as the Rector. 

Joshua is very passionate about acquiring helpful knowledge to develop himself and impact other lives. He has a Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Ondo State Polytechnic, Owo, Nigeria; a Diploma in Theology from Ezekiel College of Theology, Ekpoma, Nigeria and a Diploma in Religious Studies from Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Nigeria. He also bagged a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from West Africa Theological Seminary, Lagos, Nigeria, and a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Nigeria with a particular interest in Christian Theology. In addition, Presently, Joshua is  a Ph.D. student in Transformational and Urban Leadership at Bakke Graduate University, Texas.

 He enrolled and completed Clinical Pastoral Education, where he earned 4 Units of CPE at the Main Campus of Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. The CPE has been a blessing to his pastoral care ministry. The CPE training widened his knowledge in providing clinical pastoral Care to the sick, the bereaved, the distressed, the addicted, and those nearing end of life.

Canon. Joshua has prayer and prophetic ministry that continue to make him a blessing to his congregation. He is a good teacher of the word of God with signs and wonders following his ministry.

To the glory of God, he is happily married to a loving and ever-radiant wife, Mabel, and blessed with two boys and three girls. He loves traveling, reading, praying, playing soccer, and providing spiritual Care.
